I am greatful that you worked your hardest for your constituents on the healthcare bill. But the fight is not over Bob and there is so much more that can be done to keep this hideous beast at bay. Keep fighting the good fight! With all do respect, Dawn M. Hertzfeld

Thank you Congressman Latta for voting 'no' on the government run health care bill, and thank you for understanding what the majority of Ohioans want. I have had a taste of both worlds--the free market and government run health care. As of this year, I am on Medicare due to a disability. A year before that, I was put on Medicaid, which only took the whole previous year to approve. I worked 29 years with strong companies who offered good health insurance benefits. Now, I must fight to get certain doctor prescribed medicines that were easily given, no questions asked, with a co-pay in the free market insurance realm. Recently, I couldn't even get cough medicine with codeine for the asthma/bronchitis I had as Medicare does not approve any cough suppresents with that particular drug in it. However, I was told I could purchase a codeine pill which was much stronger than the cough syrup version and not what my doctor recomended. These are the types of things that will come if this bill is passed. Again, I thank you for your 'no' vote and your service to Ohio.
