Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) released the following statement following the House vote on H.R. 325, The No Budget, No Pay Act:

“The hardworking taxpayers of Ohio's Fifth Congressional District have budgets and Congress should have one too. After four years of trillion dollar deficits and a struggling economy, our national debt and federal spending cannot be brought under control until a budget is passed. Today’s legislative measure forces Congress to pass a budget or their pay will be suspended. I, along with my Republican colleagues, will continue its work to restore fiscal sanity in Washington by passing a budget that balances the budget.”
