Obtaining a Federal Document

Many federal documents are available online through the Government Printing Office or the Library of Congress' Thomas website. However, if you can't find what you need online, the following resources should be able to help:

House of Representatives Document Room: Provides many congressional documents free of charge. To obtain materials, call (202) 226-5200 or email the Document Room.

Government Printing Office:
Provides government documents, including information from federal agencies and many non-congressional materials. Fees apply to each order. To obtain materials, call (202) 512-1800.
