Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) issued the following statement on what would have been the 100^th Birthday of President Ronald Reagan:

“It is in challenging times that we reflect back on the life of one of America’s most significant figures in recent history, President Ronald Reagan.  The 40^th President of the United States helped shape the destiny of our nation in uncertain times, and secured America’s position in the world following decades of Cold War tension.  It was Ronald Reagan’s optimistic vision, and belief in the power of the individual that helped America see economic prosperity and achieve its status as the world’s sole superpower.  We are grateful for the legacy of Ronald Reagan and his belief in our God given liberties and self-determined ability to achieve the American dream.”
