Today Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) will receive the National Association of Manufacturing (NAM) Award for Manufacturing Legislative Excellence at Owens-Illinois (O-I) in Perrysburg, Ohio.  The NAM Award recognizes legislators who have demonstrated support for manufacturing based on their voting record.  NAM is the largest national manufacturing association in America and represents manufacturing interests in all 50 states.  Congressman Latta made the following remarks about the award:

“I am grateful to O-I and the other manufacturers in our communities who produce quality products and create jobs for our citizens.  It is my sincere desire to continue to advocate for our area’s employers so that they may retain, expand, create jobs and help our region compete on a global scale.”
