Latta recognizes U.S. Military Service Academy appointments

On Sunday, May 1, Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) recognized U.S. Military Academy Appointments for the incoming class of 2015 for the Fifth Congressional District of Ohio.  This year, eight students received appointments and were honored at an afternoon reception with the Congressman. 

Ashton Genzman, daughter of Greg Genzman and Judy Ubben-Genzman of Perrysburg will graduate this Spring from Notre Dame Academy in Toledo.  She has accepted an offer of appointment from the U.S. Naval Academy. 

Jennifer Guzowski, daughter of Bruce and Jeanette Guzowski of Tiffin, will graduate this Spring from Tiffin Columbian High School.  She has accepted an offer of appointment from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

James Kegyes, son of Michael and Vicky Kegyes of Greenwich, is a graduate of the Northwestern Preparatory School in Santa Barbara, California.  He has accepted an offer of appointment from the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Nathan Kruse, son of Dale and Laura Kruse of Ottawa, is a graduate of Ottawa-Glandorf High School.  He has accepted an offer of appointment from the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Ashley Mohr, daughter of James and Rhonda Mohr of Van Wert, will graduate this Spring from Van Wert High School.  Ashley has been offered appointments from the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. She has accepted the offer of appointment from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

Ryan Pierson, son of Michael and DeAnn Pierson of Perrysburg, will graduate this Spring from Perrysburg High School.  He has accepted an offer of appointment from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.

Matthew Slocum, son of Tobin and Sherry Slocum of Perrysburg, will graduate this Spring from Perrysburg High School.  He has accepted an offer of appointment from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.

Andrea Wyant, daughter of Richard and Cheng-Hui Wyant of Fostoria, will graduate this Spring from Fostoria High School.  She has accepted an offer of appointment from the U.S. Air Force Academy.
