Congressman Latta (R-Bowling Green) has earned Club for Growth’s annual Defender of Economic Freedom award. The award honors Members of Congress who have a strong, consistent voting record on economic growth issues. Congressman Latta was one of thirty U.S. Congressmen and five U.S. Senators to receive the award this year. “With his score of 100, and a lifetime score of 96, Congressman Latta has demonstrated that he is on the side of economic freedom not just at election time, but every time,” said Club for Growth President Chris Chocola. “The Club for Growth values Members of Congress who stand on principle over political expediency. The people of Ohio are lucky to have strong pro-growth representation in Congress.” Club for Growth is the nation’s leading free-market advocacy organization, with over 55,000 members.
