Congressman Latta Hires New District Representative

Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) announced Ryan Mack, a Defiance native and veteran of the U.S. Army, will be his veterans caseworker for the 5th Congressional District. Prior to joining Latta’s staff, Mack served a tour of duty in Afghanistan as team leader in an Army reconnaissance and sniper platoon from July 2010 through March 2011. While serving in Afghanistan, Mack was injured and medevaced to Ft. Sam Houston in Texas. After two years of rehabilitation, Mack was medically retired from the Army. “Our veterans have given so much to our country and it’s important we provide them with the best constituent service, that’s why I am proud Ryan is joining the staff,” said Latta. “As a resident of Defiance, he understands the issues veterans face in northwest Ohio and I believe Ryan will be a great asset for veterans in the area.” For any veteran affairs issues, contact Ryan Mack in Congressman Latta’s Defiance office at (419) 782-1996. |
