The American Farm Bureau Federation, in conjunction with Ohio Farm Bureau, has recognized Congressman Bob Latta (R- Bowling Green) as a recipient of the Friend of the Farm Bureau Award. Congressman Latta received the award for his support on policies that help to advance and strengthen agricultural communities and rural America.

“As the representative of the largest agricultural district in the state, I am proud to accept the Friend of the Farm Bureau Award. Agriculture plays a vital role, through putting food on our tables, and creating jobs inrural areas,” said Congressman Latta. “It’s important that the agriculture industry has a voice in Washington and I look forward to continuing to work with the American Farm Bureau Federation on commonsense, pro-growth policies that enhance and fortify America’s agricultural communities.”

Individuals were nominated by their respective state Farm Bureaus and chosen by the Board of Directors of the American Farm Bureau Federation.
