Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) issued the following statement regarding the Obama administration's decision to delay the ObamaCare employer mandate by one year:
"The decision made today by the Obama Administration to delay implementation of a part of its own law only reiterates what House Republicans have been saying for the past three years, that this massive government takeover of our health care system with costly regulations and increased taxes is an unworkable approach to health care reform. Since it was signed into law, ObamaCare has hindered job creation and growth by generating uncertainty in the marketplace and burdening small businesses and employers with tax increases and costly regulations. During the health care debate we repeatedly heard promises of affordable and accessible health care; however, in the past three years we have heard just the opposite from both employers and employees. ObamaCare must be repealed and replaced with common-sense reforms that offer Americans with access to the quality and affordable health care."
