Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) issued the following statement today in recognizing the Religious Freedom Restoration Act:

“Throughout my years of service, I have worked to protect one of our most fundamental constitutional rights – the free exercise of religion.  This week, we celebrate the 20^th Anniversary of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, a bipartisan law that prohibits the federal government from substantially burdening the free exercise of religion.  I remain committed to protecting and honoring laws that safeguard our constitutional freedoms and protect Americans’ religious liberties and conscience rights.”
