Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) was presented the 2016 Champion for Life award by Greater Toledo Right to Life President Jeff Barefoot at the organization’s annual legislative briefing.

“Bob Latta is a Congressman with a true north moral compass. He has real clarity about protecting the lives of the unborn, and shows no confusion about the evil and tragedy of abortion,” commented Jeff Barefoot. “He is consistent and courageous, and has done a great job for all northwest Ohioans on this vital moral issue.”

Congressman Latta graciously accepted the award presented to those who advocate protecting unborn life. He was chosen as the 2016 recipient for his years at the local, state and national level in promoting pro-life legislation and policies.

“I am truly humbled by this award and I will continue to fight for the unborn and promote family values,” said Latta. “I appreciate the good work and dedication of Greater Toledo Right to Life in educating the community on the value of human life and defending the lives of the unborn.”
