Latta Introduces Legislation to Honor Former Congressman Mike Oxley

Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) today introduced H.R. 4925 to rename the Findlay, Ohio Post Office after former Congressman Mike Oxley, a Findlay native, who passed away on January 1, 2016, after losing his battle with cancer:

“Mike dedicated over thirty years of his life to public service in both the Ohio House of Representatives and the Unites States House of Representatives,” said Congressman Latta. “He personified a true public servant who loved serving his constituents in Ohio and the United States of America.  I am proud to introduce this legislation in recognition of my friend and his many significant legislative accomplishments, and am grateful to my colleagues in the Ohio Congressional Delegation for giving their support to the legislation.”

Supported by the entire Ohio Delegation in the House, H.R. 4925 would designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 229 West Main Cross Street, in Findlay, Ohio, as the ‘Michael Garver Oxley Memorial Post Office Building’.
