Latta Statement on Advancement of Oxley Post Office Legislation

Washington, May 17, 2016 | Erin Partee (202-225-6405)
Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) today released the following statement praising the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform for favorably reporting to the full House of Representatives H.R. 4925, a bill to designate the Findlay Post Office as the Michael Garver Oxley Memorial Post Office Building:

“I would like to thank Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), Ranking Member Elijah Cummings (D-MD), and the entire Committee for their work, which will ensure Congressman Mike Oxley receives the recognition he deserves for his thirty years of public service to both the Ohio House of Representatives and the U.S. House of Representatives,” said Congressman Latta. “Mike personified a true public servant who loved serving his constituents, Ohio, and the United States of America.  It is now my hope that the full House shares this characterization of Mike and will act on this legislation in the coming weeks.”
