Today, Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) announced that Congressman Bob Latta (R-OH) will serve on the bipartisan National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) Conference Committee that will negotiate the annual defense bill. The NDAA establishes funding levels and sets policies for the nation’s defense.
 
“The Constitution spells out that the United States Congress has the power to provide for the common defense,” said Latta. “The NDAA is the tool that we use to ensure that our troops have the necessary support and resources to keep our country safe. I’m honored to serve on this conference committee and to help produce a final defense bill that fully funds our military and puts national security first.”
