Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) invites all high school students interested in attending a U.S. Military Service Academy — and their parents — to an informational meeting at St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy in Toledo on Tuesday, March 14. At the meeting, students will be able to learn about the service academy nomination and appointment process for the 2017-2018 academic year. The event will begin at 7 p.m.
 
Staff from Congressman Latta’s office will be present to answer any questions and representatives from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY; the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, MD; the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, CO; and the Merchant Marine Academy at King’s Point, NY will be present as well. Potential candidates will also be able to obtain an application for military service academy nominations at the meeting. Applications are due no later than September 30, 2017.
