Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) released the following statement after today’s shooting in Alexandria, Virginia.
“Marcia and I send our thoughts and prayers to Steve and the other victims of this morning’s shooting in Virginia. We are praying that everyone makes a full recovery from their injuries. From the early reports, the quick actions of the U.S. Capitol Police and Alexandria Police at the scene kept this situation from being much, much worse. As a Member of Congress, I’m thankful for the men and women of the Capitol Police that protect Representatives, Senators, staff, and the public every single day.” |
