Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) has been named by Speaker Paul Ryan to the Conference Committee on the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The NDAA is the annual authorization of the nation’s defense. As a conferee, Latta will help iron out the differences between the separate NDAA bills passed by the U.S. House and U.S. Senate.
 
“Under this Congress and President, we’ve reversed years of military drawdowns,” said Latta. “This NDAA Conference Committee is another opportunity to continue our efforts to give the men and women in our military the resources they need to keep us safe in an increasingly dangerous world. I’m honored to be named to this Conference Committee to help produce a final defense bill that fully funds our military and puts national security first.”
