Bill Steel of Bard Manufacturing to Join Congressman Latta at SOTU Address
Joining Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) at today’s State of the Union Address will be Bard Manufacturing Company President and CEO Bill Steel. Bard Manufacturing is located in Bryan, Ohio and is a leading Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) company. Last year, Bard Manufacturing Company opened the James R. Bard Center for HVAC Innovation and Design at their headquarters with the goal of improving new product development and helping to make Northwest Ohio a hub for HVAC engineering and innovation. In addition, Steel serves as Chairman of the Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute.
“Over the past two years, we’ve seen manufacturing on the rise in Ohio and across the country,” said Latta. “With more than 60,000 manufacturing jobs in Ohio’s 5th Congressional District, my constituents are better off when that sector of the economy is strong. As President and CEO of Bard Manufacturing, Bill Steel knows firsthand what it takes to grow and manage a business, create jobs, and make quality American products. In addition, Bill knows the importance of investing in the region, and that’s why Bard has opened their cutting-edge innovation center that I was able to tour last year. I’m glad that Bill can join me today as President Trump addresses Congress and the nation and lays out a vision for our country.”
