The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) awarded funds to improve the quality and delivery of care provided by three health centers in Ohio’s Fifth Congressional District.

Health centers receiving grant funding are:

Neighborhood Health Association of Toledo, Inc. - $127,212

County of Wood - $90,523

Family Health Care of Northwest Ohio, Inc. - $115,167

“It is great news that health centers in Ohio’s Fifth District will be awarded funds to optimize their services and provide the best possible care to their patients. When it comes to health care, quality and efficiency can mean the difference between life or death,” said Congressman Bob Latta (R-OH5). “I am proud that the additional funding these sites will receive from HHS will further strengthen quality improvement activities and expand quality primary health care service delivery.”
