Bowling Green, OH, January 8, 2024 | Claire Hurley (202-225-6405)

Today, Congressman Bob Latta (R-OH5) announced his nominations from Ohio’s Fifth Congressional District for consideration for acceptance into the United States Air Force, Merchant Marine, Military, and Naval Academies in the Class of 2028.

One of the greatest honors I have as the Representative for Ohio’s Fifth District in Congress is nominating students for consideration to our prestigious U.S. Military Service Academies,” Latta said. “I’m pleased to announce this year I have nominated seventeen of our best and brightest students from across Ohio’s Fifth Congressional District. These hardworking students have gone through a demanding interview and nomination process, and I congratulate them for making it this far. As they continue this noble pursuit of furthering their education to serve our country, I want to wish them the best of luck.”
