WASHINGTON, DC—Today, Congressman Bob Latta (OH-5), voted in favor of H.R. 4405, the Epstein Files Transparency Act, a bill that would require the Department of Justice (DOJ) to publish all unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials in DOJ’s possession that relate to the investigation and prosecution of Jeffrey Epstein.
Congressman Latta released the following statement:
“The House Oversight Committee has already released 65,000 pages of documentation and House Republicans have been leading the most transparent investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender, despite repeated distractions and obstruction from Democrats. Today’s vote ensures full transparency moving forward while also protecting the victims of Epstein.”
