Latta Responds to FEMA Denial of Federal Disaster Declaration Area for Wood, Fulton, and Ottawa Counties

In response to FEMA’s letter this evening denying federal assistance to Wood, Fulton and Ottawa Counties, Congressman Latta just sent separate letters to Governor Strickland and President Obama. The letters can be found here and here. The letter to Governor Strickland asks him to appeal the FEMA decision handed down today. The letter to President Obama asks him to reconsider today’s decision and to move forward with declaring these counties as federal disaster areas. Read More »
