Latta Statement on November Jobs Report

Washington, DC, December 7, 2012 | Laura Strange (202-225-6405)

Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) issued the following statement today regarding November’s national unemployment report:

“At 7.7%, our nation’s unemployment rate remains too high. It has been continually reported that more and more Americans have given up on looking for work and dropped out of the labor force. While hardworking families are searching for ways to make ends meet, the president is searching for ways to raise taxes on small businesses and continue massive federal government spending. Rather than slam small businesses with a tax hike that will make it harder to get the economy back on track and for Americans to find work, it is time we work together and find middle ground on comprehensive tax reform and federal spending cuts to ensure our economy does not go over the fiscal cliff.”
