Latta Announces 2014 Mid-Year Report Highlighting Energy and Commerce Committee Accomplishments

Congressman Bob Latta (R-OH) today announced the release of a report highlighting the accomplishments of the House Energy and Commerce Committee for the first six months of 2014. Latta is Vice-Chairman of the Committee’s Technology and Communications Subcommittee and a member of the Energy and Power and the Environment and the Economy Subcommittees. “Over the past six months, the Energy and Commerce Committee has been hard at work, developing bipartisan legislation to promote job creation, economic growth and energy independence,” said Latta. “I am proud of the accomplishments we have made this year and look forward to continuing this record of success, as we work to implement policies that encourage job creation and strengthen our economy.” The report summarizes the Committee’s accomplishments for the first six months of 2014, including key hearings and significant legislation, as well as its goals for the future.
