Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) released the following statement following a tour of farms in Van Wert, Paulding and Putnam Counties:

“Ohio’s farms have suffered through an overly difficult year from an over abundance of rain, and it was important for me to meet with those who have been affected by these unfavorable conditions. The agricultural community plays an enormous role in our region. With over 10,000 farms in the Fifth District, they are one of the driving forces in our economy, creating the jobs that support our communities, and providing the nation with a reliable food source. I will continue to work with our farmers, and continue my efforts to help the industry thrive.”
