Latta Hosts Broadcasting Forum with FCC Commissioner Michael O’Rielly in Perrysburg

BOWLING GREEN, OH – Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) hosted a broadcaster forum in Perrysburg today with Federal Communications Commissioner Michael O'Rielly. The event, held at Owens State Community College, touched on a number of issues including the importance of broadcasting in local communities, incentive auction repacking, and cross-ownership rules.

“Hearing from Commissioner O’Rielly on the most pressing issues facing broadcasters provided an insightful look into the thinking at the Federal Communications Commission,” said Latta. “The conversation was lively and hearing from the region’s broadcasters will provide important context for me as Congress discusses its role on a number of these topics as well. I want to thank the Commissioner for taking the time to come to this event and share his perspective.”
