Latta Welcomes Congressional Art Competition Winner to Capitol

Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) welcomed Ohio’s Fifth District Congressional Art Competition winner, Ethan Cawley, to the U.S. Capitol Building on Thursday. Cawley, a student at Cory-Rawson High School, was in town with art competition winners from around the country to celebrate the unveiling of their artwork at the Capitol. His piece, entitled, Lola ’72, will hang in a hallway of the Capitol for the next year.

“The art competition is an annual tradition and an opportunity for students to display their artistic talent and creativity,” said Latta. “Ethan’s artwork will be a welcome addition to the Capitol, and I’m glad he was able to come to Washington for the unveiling of his piece.”
