Latta Announces Fifth Round of Grant Funding Awarded to Fire Departments in Northwest Ohio

The Department of Homeland Security’s Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program will be awarding funds to fire departments in Ohio’s Fifth Congressional District to help firefighters and other first responders obtain resources needed to protect the public and emergency personnel from fire and other related hazards . 

Jurisdictions receiving grant funding are:

Village of Montpelier - $128,354.18
Village of Hicksville- $194,952.38

Congressman Bob Latta (R-OH5) said, “It is great news that fire departments in the Village of Montpelier and the Village of Hicksville will be receiving funding for equipment, protective gear, emergency vehicles, and other resources necessary to keep themselves and the public safe. Protecting the health and safety of Americans is my top priority and I am proud to support the fire departments in Ohio’s Fifth District that work hard to maintain the health and well-being of our communities.”
