Latta Stands in Solidarity with Law Enforcement During National Police Week

Today, Congressman Bob Latta (R-OH5) released the following statement after voting to advance pro-police bills through the U.S. House of Representatives during National Police Week:

"Day in and day out, our men and women in blue work hard to ensure the safety and security of our communities. As we recognize National Police Week, I am proud to support law enforcement's efforts by helping advance several commonsense, pro-police bills. This includes expanding COPS grants to increase police officer recruitment, condemning radical calls to defund the police, and prioritizing law enforcement safety.

"To all law enforcement officers in Ohio's Fifth District: thank you for being willing to stand in harm's way to protect our communities. We are forever grateful for your service."
