Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green), a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, announced his subcommittee assignments for the 112th Congress. Latta will serve on the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology, the Subcommittee on Health, and the Subcommittee on Environment and Economy.
“I want to thank Chairman Upton for the opportunity to serve on these important subcommittees. These subcommittees will be the starting point for dismantling the last four years of reckless public policy that expanded the size and scope of the federal government, spent trillions of dollars, and created uncertainty in our economy. Items such as net neutrality, the government takeover of our nation’s health care system, and EPA mandates must all be tackled and reformed. I look forward to working on meaningful reforms that the American people want for these flawed policies,” Latta stated after learning of his subcommittee assignments. -30-
