Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) reintroduced the Children of Military Service Members Commemorative Lapel Pin Act, a bill originally from the 111th Congress, which honors the children of military service members who serve on active duty for more than 30 days.  Congressman Latta made the following statement after introducing H.R. 1014:

“It is important we do everything we can to honor and respect not only our men and women in uniform, but also their families who have sacrificed so much for them and for our country.  It is important we recognize these children for their contribution to the military through their family members’ service, whether they are the children of military service members from World War I or Operation Enduring Freedom.”
