Latta Introduces a Bill to Honor Military Children

Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) has introduced H.R. 1889, the Children of Military Service Members Commemorative Lapel Pin Act, which honors children of military service members who serve on active duty for more than 30 days.

“Military children and families are often faced with frequent moves, long and short-term absence of a parent, and threats of parental loss in war,” said Congressman Latta.  “It is important we recognize these children for their contribution to the military through their parents.”

Congressman Latta originally introduced this legislation in 2010 during the 111th Congress.  To view the bill online, click here.
