This bipartisan bill assists states with emergency medical technician (EMT) shortages to streamline and waive certification requirements that are duplicative for veterans who are already qualified military EMTs.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. economy created just 96,000 of jobs in the month of August according to a report, released today, by the Labor Department. The unemployment rate remained above eight percent, marking the 43rd consecutive month of unemployment at or above eight percent.
